Summary

We partnered with Di Cara Rubino Architects to complete a full renovation of the Manchester Regional High School auditorium, delivering the project in strategic phases to keep the space operational throughout construction. The transformation centered around infrastructure first, replacing outdated rigging and power systems with a new ETC Ion Xe 20 lighting control package, Sensor-based power control, Paradigm architectural integration, motorized ETC Prodigy front-of-house rigging, and a fully modernized DMX distribution network.

The standout feature of the space is a 12’ x 34’ MAXHUB LED video wall, the largest installed in any New Jersey school. With 2.5mm pixel pitch and NovaStar processing, the wall provides a high-impact visual platform for performances, presentations, assemblies, and live events.

Stage lighting was upgraded with ETC ColorSource fixtures throughout electrics, box booms, and front of house positions, supported by new dead-hung rigging and dedicated LED work lighting. House lighting was fully replaced with dimmable LED Pathway fixtures, along with new ETC Mini LED aisle lighting for safe audience circulation.

The audio system includes dual JBL array systems with subwoofers, Crown amplification, an Allen & Heath SQ5 console with digital stage box, Sennheiser wireless microphone packages, choir mics, EAW stage monitors, and integrated RF distribution. A custom lockable rolltop control desk was installed at the rear center of the auditorium to house lighting, audio, and broadcast controls.

To support live production and streaming, the space also includes Vaddio PTZ cameras, a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro switcher, Apple Mac Mini M2 Pro system, and a Clear-Com wireless communication package, creating a fully integrated performance and broadcast environment.
