Summary

Mountain Lakes High School’s auditorium received a comprehensive upgrade designed to modernize the space while giving students and staff a much stronger platform for performances and events.

The project began with a new stage rigging system featuring multiple manual flying line sets, dead-hung pipes, and rope-operated track systems to safely support scenery, lighting, and stage elements. A full fire-retardant drapery package was also installed, including new travelers, borders, legs, and a cyclorama to create a complete and flexible stage environment.

Behind the scenes, we installed a modern ETC theatrical lighting control and power infrastructure, creating a strong backbone for the lighting system and future upgrades. The stage lighting itself was upgraded with LED color-changing fixtures, while new dimmable LED house lighting and aisle lighting improved visibility, safety, and overall control throughout the auditorium.

To make the space easier to use for everyday activities, dimmable LED stage work lights were added for rehearsals, meetings, and maintenance without relying on the full theatrical lighting system.

The auditorium also received a new integrated AV system with projection, sound, wireless microphones, assistive listening, and one-touch control for simple operation. A custom rolltop control desk was installed to house the lighting and audio equipment, and acoustic sound panels were added to improve audio clarity while incorporating school branding into the room.
