Summary

This project focused on upgrading the auditorium’s core lighting, audio, projection, and communication systems to improve functionality for performances, assemblies, and school events.

The house lighting was fully replaced with a new LED lighting system featuring smooth 1% dimming and bright, even coverage throughout the seating area and under the balcony. The system was integrated with a code-compliant emergency lighting package tied into the building’s fire alarm and generator to ensure safe egress during power loss.

The audio system was modernized with a professional loudspeaker system including subwoofers and under-balcony speakers powered by dedicated amplifiers and controlled through a 48-channel digital mixing console. A digital stage box provides easy microphone connectivity on stage, supported by wireless microphones, choir microphones, and stage monitors. All equipment is housed in a secure equipment rack with sequenced power distribution.

To expand the auditorium’s visual capabilities, a new projection system was installed featuring a motorized screen and a 10,000-lumen laser projector. Multiple HDMI wallplate inputs were added at the rack, stage apron, and control booth to allow easy connection of laptops and video sources.

A Clear-Com intercom system was also installed to enable clear communication between the stage and control booth during productions. The project was completed with a new lectern equipped with power outlets, HDMI connectivity, and a gooseneck microphone mount for presenters.
